Elliana's pregnancy

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I last updated this thing...it's pretty crazy with two kids!!

So last February we found out we were having a little girl! We were so super excited! Ever since I was a teen, I had always said that if I had it my way, I'd have a boy first and then a girl. God granted my wish!

Elliana's pregnancy was pretty rough on me! I was exhausted, had all day nausea until 14 weeks along, we had a heart scare, and placenta previa which corrected itself! Then they were also worried that her legs were measuring too short. I kept saying that I wasn't worried because I have short legs, and so does Jeremiah. But we had to have a couple extra ultrasounds to measure her growth and she was just fine! Then I had horrible pubic symphysis disorder. I had it with Jeremiah, but it started almost right away with Elliana. To make matters worse, when I was 6 months along, I was walking into my doctors appointment. My doctors office is in the hospital. It had snowed the night before and well...I took a fall right outside the hospital doors. An older gentleman was right by me when I fell. When I had trouble getting up and I told him I was pregnant, he was so pissed!! He walked me into the hospital to make sure I didn't fall again, and then went off on the people at the front desk. My doctor was not happy either when I told her I took a fall at the hospital. Anyway, I was extremely sore from that fall for about a week.
Other than the aches and pains of pregnancy, I was just ready to meet my baby girl! I wanted her out lol!
Because I had had a c-section with Jeremiah, it was highly advised that we have another one. It was my choice but I chose to be on the safe side. Plus I like to plan and got to pick her birthday! April 8th was the big day!

So I really suck at updating this thing! As the post says, Jeremiah is here! But let me back track a bit! Our pregnancy was really a breeze! We always said that we knew God gave us the pregnancy because of how easy things went. I never had morning sickness, my blood and urine numbers were always great, I only gained 6 pounds, and never had any of the things that they test you for. Last time I updated, we didn't even know that Jeremiah was a boy. I had a gut feeling that he was a boy, but Matt was holding out for a girl. On June 26th, we got to have the gender scan. My favorite thing about pregnancy was getting to have ultrasounds! The tech took her time taking measurements and showing us all the parts...4 chamber heart, hands, feet, head, tummy, etc, etc. Then when I thought she was down by his legs, I said "so, is that a boy?" She asked if we really wanted to know and I immediately said "YES!" So she found the parts, turned the screen and asked what it was...

My sweet boy, The time has come. The time has come for me to watch you spread your wings, and fly. It is time for you to start school away from home. My heart...oh my heart...it is so worried, so very excited, and so very anxious for this. I write this, and the tears start to flow. We met your teachers tonight, they both seem very sweet. You were scared. You wouldn't walk into the building. You had to be coaxed and carried in by grandma. You were nervous. You stood by me, half of your body behind me. We put your backpack in your cubby, school supplies in the bin, and we stood. Both of us nervous, but trying not to show it. And God said "Wait"

So heres the newest update. It doesn't take much to figure out that we hit our first stand still...our first waiting period...the first " please hold" moment....our first..whatever you want to call it. As most of you know, we met with Heather for the first time on December 18th and things seemed good. We had set up to do our individual meetings on January 22nd and thought we'd be procedding to do our homestudy and start our family profile, etc. We had even begun buying some small things for the baby and brought home baby things that my mom had for us. Well things don't always go as planned. I got an email from Heather on January 6th, saying she had gotten a chance to look through our file and had some concerns but didn't say what.
