4 months!

Jeremiah is now a little over 19 weeks old! He will be 20 weeks old on Monday! Time sure is flying by!
We have had an eventful past month or so. Jeremiah has been in and out of the doctors more than I care to admit.
First we were in because he had dry, red patches all over his arms, shoulders, legs and back. His family doctor couldn't figure it out so he sent us to the dermatologist. So we went there, she didn't quite know what it was so we treated it like eczema. We used a strong hydrocortosone cream twice a day. Well, it cleared up in about a week! We had to go back in two weeks for a recheck and got the clear to come back in a year to check on things.
Then, one morning I noticed some goo coming out of Jeremiah's ear. I took him back to his family doctor and he was diagnosed with an ear infection. We weren't given antibiotics but were told to put a couple drops of vinegar in his ear a few times a day. After his whole ear turned bright red, I decided to get a second opinion. Two days later we went to an actual pediatrician and he told us it was just ear wax and he had and never had any signs of an ear infection. Needless to say, we weren't too happy that Jeremiah was misdiagnosed and decided to switch doctors.
The next day, Jeremiah came down with his first really bad cold. He is still battling it but not nearly as bad.

A week after the ear, we had Jeremiah's 4 month well baby check up and shots. They had an actual baby scale (before we were getting Jeremiah's weight by Matt holding him while weighing, stepping off, and then Matt weighed himself, and we just did the math to figure out Jeremiah's weight.) And they had this neat ruler thing to get the right length. So at 4 months old, Jeremiah is 17.5 lbs, 26 inches long! The doctor said everything was great and his development was right on target. Then came time for the shots. Matt stood up there by Jeremiah and two nurses gave him his shots in both legs at the same time. He cried pretty hard but calmed down once I was able to comfort him. It breaks my heart seeing him cry like that.

Jeremiah has also started to roll from his back to his stomach- which usually happens after they roll from tummy to back! Last Saturday, we got Jeremiah's pictures taken for free! A lady that I came across on Facebook is trying to start up her photography business and was looking for infants to practice on. He did so great and she got some really great photos of him! We should be getting the CD soon!

Enough typing, here are some recent pictures of Jeremiah!
